Rock abuy baby ...... wait why is there a cake in the tree top?

Hey sorry about the dancing with the stars post!! I just Love dancing with the stars! Anyways, Let's swerve back onto the icing paved road, and talk about cakes! I didn’t have enough time to tell you about the MMA Fight and Baby Cradle cake, so I guess I might as well tell you about those two cakes!!! I’ll tell you about the MMA fight first! Now I’ll first ask you this question. Where do you think a MMA fight cake would end up at? (Comment what your answer is before you read the rest.) Well it’s not what you think! Got anymore guesses? No, okay I’ll tell you! It happens to be a wedding cake! Ya, I know Big Shocker right!! Not to me, I can think of tons of places where that cake can go!!! Well, let me describe the cake before that drool in your mouth turns into a puddle; And before Mrs. M tells you to clean it up! It is a vanilla cake with a layer of chocolate, strawberries and more cake! It also had to fighters in the rink made out of modeling chocolate! FYI, the chocolate part just made the drool turned into a puddle! The bride and groom where both happy that their cake turned out delicious!

Well enough of that MMA fight cake! I’ll tell you about a baby cradle cake! Before I do, can you please clean up your mess? O it’ll get a whole lot messier! Well first off, let me tell you how the whole cake came to be! Buddy, has another sister which her name escapes me right now. Well she’s pregnant! She told Buddy not to tell anyone! You wonder but why? She wanted her kids to tell everyone! But enough of the baby; you have to know about the cake! Since it has something to do with a baby, Buddy and his brother in-law decided to make a cake that look like a baby cradle! Okay this is the time where you really need to watch where that drool goes! It was made of red velvet cake covered in modeling chocolate, with a rise crispy bar covered in fond art. Okay you might ask what fond art is; it’s thick icing. You also ask me what is the different between thick and creamy icing. Well, I'll tell you; Found art taste sweater! Well let’s skip to the end, because everything else wasn’t that important! When the kids told their family that mommy was pregnant, every one freaked out and got to taste the beautiful, yet delicious cake!

Stars wrise wiht Dancing With The stars!

Finally, Dancing with the Stars is back! If you are a big fan; than you know what the famous T.V. show is! If you aren’t a big fan of dancing; you wouldn’t know what it was. It’s a famous T.V. show that isn’t any ordinary dancers on it; it has famous people A.K.A the stars. Every Monday at 7:00 the stars perform their dances. On Tuesdays on same time, but they show who moves on to the next round and who get eliminated. This year the Stars are Aiden Turner, Buzz Aldrin, Chad Ochocinco, Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek, Jake Pavelka, Kate Gosselin, Nicole Scherzinger, Niecy Nash, Pamela Anderson, and Shannon Doherty! Here’s a little info about all the stars. Aiden Turner shows on the Soap opera All My Children. Buzz Aldrin Was the second man to step on the moon. Chad Ochocinco is playing wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. Erin Andrews is an ESPN Courtside reporter. Evan Lysacek just won a gold medal for USA figure skating! Jake Pavelka was on the famous T.V. show The Bachelor. Kate Gosselin from the T.V. John and Kate plus 8! Nicole Scherzinger Is the Lead singers of the Pussycats Dolls! Niecy Nash playing Deputy Raineesha Williams on Comedy Central's Reno 911! Pamela Anderson was acting on Baywatch and being a spokesperson/model for PETA. Finally Shannon Doherty is playing Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210, playing Prue Halliwell on Charmed.

These young and old stars also have partners to dance with! They all have wonderful Dancers, but some are hard to work with! Well I guess I’ll name of all the partners off! Aiden Turner has Edyta Sliwinska. Buzz Aldrin’s partner is Ashly Costa; Ashly is a young girl; why do you think they put her with an 80-year-old man? Chad Ochocino’s partner is Sheryl Burke. Erin Andrews’ partner is Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Evan Lysacek’s partner is going to be Anna Trebunskaya. Jake Pavelka’s partner, but not wife-to-be is Chelsie Hightower! Kate Gosselin’s partner is Tony Dovoloni. Nicole Scherzinger’s partner is Derek Hough; I’m existed to see how this couple works out!! Niecy Nash’s partner is going to be Louis van Amstel; I’m scared for Niecy because he is a Tough partner to have! Pamela Anderson’s partner will be Damien Whitewood; I’m surprised that there is a new dancer on the dance floor this year! Lastly, Shannon Doherty’s partner this year is going to be Mark Ballas! This year I’m actually excited to watch dancing with the stars; there are some of my favorite dancers, and there are star people actually know! A splash of pink can make every thing worse!

This week on Cake Boss, Buddy had to make paint can cake, a MMA fight cake, and a baby cradle cake! These aren’t the biggest cakes, but they are still very tastey! The paint can cake was only the first part of the big story! Evidently the paint can cake was for painters, but they didn’t have enough money for the cake. So they made a deal with Buddy; Buddy wanted his bakery painted, so they decided to paint his bakery for their Cake! Buddy wanted to paint the Colors of Cesar’s Palace! He wanted golds, reds, and many royal colors. The day the painters where going to paint; Buddy’s sister comes in, Mary, and tells the painters to paint the room pink! So the next day Buddy walks into his bakery and flips out! He sees pink everywhere. He calls Mary up and yells at her. He told the painters he wants it brown instead of pink and then they could get their cake! The day after that Buddy walks in and loves the room; warm and perfect. So Buddy gave the painters there cake! It was a silver paint can with a pink roller, orange Paint Brush, and pink, orange and red paint dripping everywhere. It’s outstanding! I’ll talk about the next two cakes next time!! Untill then sit down with some Wal-Mart cake, and watch Cake Boss; Where real Cakes are made!

Have you every been EATING with the fishes?

This week on Cake boss Buddy is going to create an underwater theme cake! It is a cake in the front, and two fish tanks in the back! Real fish tanks! Buddy decides to have a hammer head shark, sting ray, a sea turtle, and tons of little fish! The coral was this sugary like liquid, but when it freezes around ice it looks amazing! Buddy had to different colors together so it looked amazing! All of a sudden, we hit a block; one of the other chefs put the coral in the fridge. Do you know what happens when you put the stuff it’s made out of in the fridge? It Melts! Buddy had to make even more coral, but it didn’t take him long. When buddy made the turtle, My-oh-my, it looked like it was going to wake up and bite you. Nolw they started placing the coral, fish, and icing on the cake; it looked so real! You felt like you were swimming with the fishes! Now they added the real fishes! It was amazing! One of the little fishes was scare of the sharks!

Another cake I want to tell you about is A one of a kind Sofia Disney princess cake! It’s Buddy’s daughter, Sophia, birthday while they were at Disney world! Buddy had to say yes too little Sophia, he couldn’t say no to his little girl when she asked her Daddy to build her cake! He decided to build Cinderella’s castle (A.K.A. The Disney castle), with four different princess’! The princess; where Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Ariel from the Little Mermaid, Mulan the Warrior princess, and Jasmine from the movie Aladdin! It really helped Buddy to see the entire princess’ because he had to get every detail on the princess’ just right! Buddy mad e the cake about 3 feet tall, the bottom half was light purple with blue pillars, and the top half was white with gold pillars! Green grass surrounding the castle, 4 princess’ surrounding the cake! It made little Sophia so happy! “Seeing the expression on my princess Sophia, it was priceless!” - Buddy

Cake Boss

Have you ever been so hungry you could eat a horse? How about a horse cake? I know I have, but when I am I don’t eat; I turn on the T.V. and watch the T.V. show Cake Boss! Cake Boss is about a Chef named Buddy designs Out-of-this-world cakes! Seriously, one time He made a Solar System cake! My Favorite cake he has made so far was a birthday cake for his sister. It was a 3 layered cake, each with a different animal print. There was a Zebra print, Cheetah Print, and a leopard print! His sister went to beauty school, so he Put makeup made out of colored modeling chocolate on the cake! There where various shades of Lipsticks, Little things of blush and eye shadow, and even bottles of mascara; everything you could imagine! She also loves shoes and purses, so he made an edible shoe and pursed out of modeling chocolate! He even put her name on the shoe, so it looked like she had her own brand of shoes!! It was outstanding!!

My Least Favorite cake was an amazing cake before Bridezilla ruined it!! If you ever see her with a bag of icing, don’t let her near a Lovely wedding cake!! Owl City

Owl City is my favorite Artists! They sing popular songs like, Fireflies, Vanilla Twilight, and Hello Seattle! I love their music because they have messages in them! Hello Seattle is about a person talking about whatever or whoever you are you have a good life and a purpose in life! I also like Owl City because their music is pop but a little bit of techno! I love music with a little twist, It’s Like, How should I say it? Strawberry ice-cream, with star fruit! Odd in every way, but they work together! The techno part of the key board and soft melody of the piano, in every song works perfect and gets you attached to the songs!

They also sing one of my favorite songs, Dental Care, Rainbow Veins, and Swimming in Miami! My Favorite verses out of Swimming in Miami are “I’m alone above the atmosphere, and no one looking up can find me here! ’Cause I can close my eyes, and disappear! When I climb the stairs to watch the sun; above station walls, the colors run to fill the swimming pool when I am done!” I love that verse to Swimming in Miami because the singer shows power! My favorite verses out of dental care are “I’d rather pick flowers; instead of fight! And rather than flaunt my style. I’d flash you a smile, of clean pearly whites!” Those are my favorite verses because this person is saying that he would rather do the right thing than the wrong thing, and get in trouble! My favorite verses in Rainbow Veins are “Cheer up and dry your damp eyes! And tell me when it rains and I’ll blend up that rainbow above you and shoot it through your veins! ‘Cause your heart has a lack of color and we should have known!”

Fisrt Semester Portfolio- My piece i would like to revise

The genre of my story is a free write. It’s about a teenager that lives their whole life in sin, and would like to learn how to be a good kid. They do not know how to become a good kid so the wonder how and why. They ask someone and they know the answer to their problem. I got my idea by sitting in math class, my homework all done, and didn’t know what to do. I thought of writing a poem about my old life, and how I worked my way through hard times, by going to church and having god and friends help me along the way. I would revise my poem, by rephrasing some parts, replacing commas and other punctuation, and probably fix my spelling.

Fisrt Semester Portfolio- My favorite piece

The genre of my story is a place poem. It’s about my aunt’s sewing room, and how I make a quilt. This poem is my favorite; because it’s when I accomplished a task I never thought I would do! I knew I would make a quilt, but I never knew I could do it at a young age! My idea came from, when I was working looking at my quilt at home, wondering what to do for my poem, and decided to write about the day I sewn my quilt.

“My Aunt’s Sewing Room”

As beautiful bright fabric hang in their places,
I wonder what I will use next,
I stare at the bright colored buttons,
They look like bright shining stars on a jet black night.

The smell of lilacs from the mist I spray,
Is a crown of gold fit for a queen upon my head,
The warmth of the fabric saves me from the chill,
As if I was in a cold frozen forest.

The vibration of the sewing machine massages my hands,
It sounds as if a roaring lion was let out of a cage.
As thread and fabric meet and they become inseparable,
Like two little girls in kindergarten.

The sound of scissors snipping at threads,
I think what a beautiful quilt I have made.
The feeling of the patches closely stitched together,
Like a hopscotch board, close and perfect.

Fisrt Semester Reflection

Before I came into 7th grade, I wasn’t the best writer. I often left out punctuation, never capitalized my letters, and never wrote in good paragraphs! When I became a 7th grader, I learned about a ton of new tricks, and tips to being a better writer. My favorite trick was imagery, because it makes your story livelier than what it sounded. I could see what I was writing, because it was very well described.

This year has been harder than ever. A couple things I learned about myself this year is I need to ask more questions and I need to pay attention more. I have also learned that I can be a better writer, by taking my time and not speeding through an assignment. One last thing that I have learned is that I can help other students and that helps me become a better student.

I want to be a successful student, but I have to work to become a successful student. Some things I might do to become a successful student are, to ask more questions, pay more attention, and do my very best. I need to ask questions more often, because I don’t understand a lot of things that teachers tell me. I might understand half of what the teachers are saying, but not all of it. I also need to pay more attention to teachers and other students. They might say some information that I needed to finish an assignment.
